Beauty of Holiness Conference: "Chris Died For People, Not Institutions" | Keith Boyette

Beauty of Holiness Conference: "Chris Died For People, Not Institutions" | Keith BoyetteWhile at the Beauty of Holiness Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jason Nix sits down with Rev. Keith Boyette for an update on retirement and what he calls “redeployment.” Keith reflects on how God used him to help launch the Global Methodist Church and how he recognized when it was time to lay that responsibility down.Keith shares how age, health, and the denomination’s transition into a new season shaped his decision. He discusses the difference between helping establish a movement and leading its ongoing operations, the importance of making room for new leaders, and the challenges that arise when former leaders struggle to release control.Together, Jason and Keith explore how God continues to work through people beyond what they imagined and why stepping aside can open the door to new opportunities to serve. At the heart of the conversation is a reminder that Christ died for people, not institutions, and that the church’s mission must keep people at its center.Across the Globe: The PodcastThe official podcast of the Global Methodist ChurchAcross the Globe: The Podcast is the official podcast of the Global Methodist Church — sharing news, updates, and inspirational stories from across our worldwide connection. Each episode brings you closer to what God is doing through the Global Methodist Church — from new churches and baptisms to missions mobilization, leadership development, and powerful testimonies of lives being transformed.
