While attending Eastern Michigan University, Kelvin had an internship a sports reporter with a local new station.  Not long after graduation, he landed a job as an on-air personality.  Kelvin spent several years in radio prior to making the jump to television, where he has affiliated with Turner Broadcasting, CNN, and Spectrum 1.
