Son Arrested After 49-Year-Old Mom Found Shot To Death In Kitchen

After an hours long manhunt, 22-year-old Ryan Hanafin is in custody and believed to be responsible for shooting and killing his own mother. Hanafin was arrested after his father found his wife, 49-year-old Andria in the kitchen, dead. Their 13-year-old son was unharmed  inside the home, and their older daughter was away at college, but Ryan was missing along with his vehicle. Police tracked Ryan down in Vermont and he’s expected to face murder charges when he faces a judge later this afternoon. This is the first murder in Reading, Massachusetts in more than a decade.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
