Episode Description from the Publisher

What does it actually mean to invest in a neighborhood? Raul Raymundo, founder of The Resurrection Project, has spent 35 years in Pilsen answering that question, and his answer starts with people, not buildings. Hosts Meghan Harte (LISC Chicago) and Stacie Young (Community Investment Corporation) talk with Raul about financial literacy, homeownership, and what he calls "balanced development," using Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood as the case study. They also hear from former Alderman Walter Burnett as the episode’s featured expert cameo. Built Different Chicago is hosted by Meghan Harte and Stacie Young.
