Love Him or Lose Him: Should the Cubs RE-SIGN Ian Happ?

Ian Happ’s future with the Chicago Cubs is one of the biggest questions facing Jed Hoyer this offseason. After 10 seasons in Chicago, Happ is headed for free agency following a 2026 season in which he hit 24 home runs and drove in 68 runs, while continuing to provide strong defense and leadership as one of the longest-tenured Cubs. In this edition of Love Him or Lose Him, Luke Stuckmeyer, Joey Christopoulos and Justin Roman debate whether the Cubs should RE-SIGN Ian Happ for 2027 or move on and reshape the outfield. Should Happ remain a core piece of the next Cubs team, or is it time for Chicago to turn the page?   Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
