In-state tuition for undocumented immigrants challenged, Denver’s State of the City, widespread fishing closures

The U.S. Department of Justice is suing the state of Colorado over a law that offers in-state tuition rates to undocumented college students, arguing the policy is unfair to citizens from other states. Then, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston called for an expansion of affordable housing and universal childcare in his recent State of the City address, but with a single year left in his current term, those goals may take longer to implement.
