God's Word has something to say about everything happening in the world around you. The border. Transgender issues. The war in Iran. The legalization of marijuana. Every issue, every headline, every opinion. So why are so many Christians forming their perspectives without it? This week, host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow, wingman Christy Mendelow, and guest Jeff Egli take on politics—but not the way you might expect. This is not Republican versus Democrat. This is about what it actually looks like to bring your faith into the most contested conversations of our day. Real stories from the news, held up to the standard of Scripture, and examined for what they actually reveal about how Christians are called to think, act, and respond. Colorado warned California. California didn't listen. The results were predictable. The Bible saw it coming. Tune in and find out what Scripture says about the issues shaping our world. On Memorial Day weekend, we remember those who sacrificed everything—not just the years they lived, but the futures they never had. To honor that means standing for the freedom and the values they died to protect and one of the most important things every Christian must stand for is something most don't fully understand. In this episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and his wingman Christy Mendelow bring you Part 2 of their conversation on antisemitism—and this one goes deeper. Jews and Christians are one family under one God. The original branches and the grafted-in branches of the same vine. A branch cannot bear fruit apart from the vine. And yet the house of God is under attack—from radical Islamic fundamentalism, from godless leftist ideology, and from the persistent ignorance that has divided Christians from their Jewish brothers and sisters for generations. Hosea 4:6 says God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Antisemitism is taught. That means it can be untaught. But only if Christians are willing to stand up, seek the truth, and stop allowing the enemy to divide what God has joined together. A house divided cannot stand. Whether you are continuing from Part 1, following the “Real Faith for the Real World” series, or wrestling with what the Bible actually says about Jews, Israel, and what Christians are called to believe and do—this conversation is one you cannot afford to miss. Can a Christian be antisemitic? It sounds like a simple question. The answer will require you to look in the mirror. Antisemitism is one of the most misunderstood and deliberately distorted topics in the world today—and host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and his wingman Christy Mendelow confront it head on in this episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow." Hatred of Jews is on the rise globally. Synagogues are being vandalized. Jews are being attacked on the streets of London. In the United States, plots to drive vehicles into synagogues are being uncovered. And behind much of what you see playing out on Capitol Hill and college campuses, antisemitism is at the root. Colonel Mendelow, himself a Jewish believer in Christ, anchors this conversation in Scripture. Jews are God's chosen people. Salvation comes from the Jews. Those who bless them will be blessed and those who curse them will be cursed. Genesis 12:3 has not been replaced. God does not break His promises. So what is behind this hatred? What is replacement theology and why does it matter to you as a Christian? And if you are honest with yourself—are there any wrong thoughts, wrong feelings, or wrong associations you need to correct? The family of God is under attack. We cannot afford to be divided or indifferent. Tune in now and find out what the Bible actually says about the Jewish people—and what it means for how you think, feel, and act. You have been told that faith has no place in politics. That the church and the state must be kept separate. That a Christian should stay in his lane. But what if that idea—the one you have accepted as fact—was never true to begin with? In this week's episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and his wingman Christy Mendelow tackle one of the most consequential lies shaping this nation. The phrase "separation of church and state" does not appear in any founding document. It was lifted from a single letter written by Thomas Jefferson in 1802, taken out of context in a 1947 Supreme Court opinion that had no legal precedent, and has been cited in over 4,000 cases since—while the First Amendment itself has been cited in fewer than 3,000. That is not history. That is misinformation. And our children have been paying the price ever since. Since prayer was removed from schools in 1962 and the Bible in 1963, divorce rates climbed, SAT scores dropped, and a generation was handed the world without the foundation to navigate it. George Washington said it plainly in his 1796 farewell address—national morality cannot prevail without religious principles. He was right then. The evidence is all around us now. So the question is not whether your faith belongs in the public square. The question is how much longer you will accept the lie that it doesn't. Listen now and get the history behind one of the most misunderstood ideas in this nation—and find out what it means to bring your faith into every area of your life. Saying yes to God is easy when the path is clear. But what about when it isn't? In this week's episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and his wingman Christy Mendelow bring a front-row account of what happens when someone says yes to God without knowing where it will lead. Bunni Pounds had a vision to have the Bible read over the American people. She didn't know where the money would come from, how the logistics would work, or if it would happen at all. She said yes anyway. Fourteen months later, 475 readers and 122 ministries came together in Washington, DC. Colonel Mendelow was among them. Even the President of the United States read. For an entire week, the Bible was read aloud over this nation. And God, who promises to multiply what we offer Him, will do with that what only He can do. We don't begin to know what those yeses will produce. That is what a yes to God looks like when you get out of the way and trust Him with the outcome. So where is God asking you to say yes right now? Not to everything—but to the thing He is putting in front of you. Are you moving toward it, or are you waiting until it makes more sense? The Bible says do it immediately. Not when you are ready. Now. Tune in and find out what saying yes to God could mean for your life. Hear the show on CourageousChristianity.today, on KKHT.com, iHeart Radio, or on select podcast platforms. You see it every day. The news, the commentary, the reactions, the words people throw out without thinking. In this week's episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow is joined by his wingman Christy Mendelow and guest Jeff Egli. They look at a real-world situation—the release of Dennis Coyle after being detained in Afghanistan—and what followed in the comments on social media. What people chose to say. How quickly it turned. How easily words were used to tear down a man most don't even know. It is a clear example of what we're surrounded by—and how quickly things can go in the wrong direction. Colonel Mendelow, Christy, and Jeff examine what unfolded—and the damage it does—through the biblical lens of God's Word. What that examination brings into focus is something every man deals with—the weight of his own words. You can't fight fire with fire. More words don't fix things. Scripture is clear: be quick to listen, slow to speak, and measured in how you respond. Every Christian man needs to hear this conversation. Tune in and find out how to speak with the discipline of a Christian warrior. Hear the show on CourageousChristianity.today, on KKHT.com, iHeart Radio, or on select podcast platforms. When you live out your faith according to the Truth of God’s Word, you may find yourself in moments of conflict, because your beliefs will not always align with what others believe, accept, or promote. When those moments arise, how do you respond? Do you stay anchored in the Truth, or do you find yourself reacting in the moment? Are you speaking in a way that reflects Christ, or getting drawn into something that doesn’t? In Part 2 of the two-part series on understanding and managing conflict as a Christian warrior, the focus turns to the responsibility that comes with it. Understanding the context of conflict matters and so does how you choose to engage it. This conversation walks through what that looks like in real life—knowing the Word, responding instead of reacting, and recognizing when to engage and when to step away. It also brings it back to how you see people, not as the opposition, but as those who may be lost and in need of the Truth. Conflict, handled well, becomes an opportunity to reflect Christ in a way that words alone cannot. Listen now and come away with a clearer understanding of the responsibility you carry in conflict and how to respond with conviction, discipline, and a steady commitment to the Truth. If you choose to stand firm in your faith, you will come into conflict. Not because you are looking for it, but because living according to the Truth will put you at odds with a world that rejects it. So, what do you do when that happens? Do you step into it, or do you step back? For decades, Christians were the clear majority in this country. Today, that number has dropped significantly and it raises an honest question—how did that happen? Did something take that ground, or did we slowly give it by choosing not to act when it mattered? In this episode of "Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow," the focus turns to something most people would rather avoid—conflict. Because when you live out your faith according to the Truth, you will find yourself facing opposition, tension, and moments where you have to decide whether you will stand firm or stay silent. This show begins a two-part series on understanding the context of that conflict—why it’s happening and what it requires of you. You don’t have to go looking for conflict. But if you are serious about living out your faith, you won’t be able to avoid it. The question is whether you are prepared to handle it in a way that reflects Christ—with clarity, conviction, and wisdom. Tune in to gain a clear understanding of why conflict is part of your walk and how to approach it in a way that honors God.
