Leo inadvertently reveals crucial information to Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), complicating matters for Gwen. As the Salem PD, led by Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), and the FBI search for Gwen, Leo fears EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) might target him next.  DOOL spoilers indicate that Leo's concern for Gwen leads him to prematurely reveal the existence of her dead man switch, a confession of their criminal activities meant to expose EJ. This confession ends up in the hands of ISA agent Kat and FBI agent Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). With Gwen's confession in their possession, they discover EJ and Gwen's involvement in Dimitri's kidnapping, funding for Dr. Wilhelm Rolf's (Richard Wharton) experiments, and the attempt to buy the hospital. Spoilers for Days of our Lives suggest that Leo's indiscretion leads to the involvement of the ISA, FBI, Salem PD, and Black Patch in Gwen's case. Even as Leo plans to flee, he remains involved, sending a text to Dimitri about Gwen's location. However, Gwen's confession could potentially land her behind bars, thanks to Leo's loose lips.
