Jannik Sinner SURGERY?! The TRUTH About His Knee Injury

Jannik Sinner has withdrawn from the China Open in Beijing, where he was set to defend his title, as his ongoing knee problem continues to delay his return to competitive tennis. But now reports from Italy have suggested that Sinner’s injury could be iliotibial band syndrome (ITBS) — with surgery even being mentioned as a possible option if conservative treatment fails. So what is actually confirmed, and what is speculation? In this video, we break down Sinner’s own statement on his knee, the reported ITBS diagnosis, where the surgery claims originated, and what could happen next for the Italian star. IMPORTANT: At the time of recording, Sinner has NOT officially confirmed an ITBS diagnosis, there has been no announcement that he requires surgery, and no operation has been confirmed or scheduled. Surgery has only been reported as a possible scenario if conservative treatment fails. What do you think? When will Jannik Sinner return to the ATP Tour?
