ROB BECKETT: I’m a Chinese Takeaway & a Pint - If You Don’t Like It, Don’t Come Again

Rob Beckett burst onto the comedy scene 15 years ago. Since then, he’s become one of the UK’s most successful and popular comedians - from his sell-out stand up tours to his hit podcast Parenting Hell, Rob & Romesh Vs and now, Celebrity Traitors. I'd been trying to get Rob on the show for years, so finally sitting down with him for a proper laugh was a real pinch-me moment. Behind the jokes is a comedian who's found his voice, stopped worrying about what other people think, and uses it to give us all a bit of light relief from the doom and gloom in the world. In this conversation, Rob shares: Being told he was stupid by a teacher and how it stayed with him How he found his voice as a comedian The moment on Rob vs Romesh he realised he was burnt out How having kids holds a mirror up to your own childhood A surprise message from his wife, LouThis conversation is a reminder that the best version of yourself is usually the one where you stop trying to be anything else.
