Maye's Shoulder, and Patriots-Bills

Drake Maye and the Patriots face a tough task this weekend, as they look to bounce back from an embarrassing defeat at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Patriots head to Buffalo on Sunday to face their division rivals, who have started the season 3-0, leading the AFC East. Boston Sports Journal’s Greg Bedard returns for another Thursday edition of the Greg Bedard Patriots Podcast with Nick Cattles to preview Sunday’s game. First, they dig into the latest news coming out of Foxborough, including Drake Maye’s apparent shoulder injury. Greg explains what he’s heard about this news and speculates why the Patriots may have added him to yesterday’s injury report. The guys also dig into the reported riff between Maye and Mike Vrabel which leads to a bigger-picture discussion around the relationship between Maye, Vrabel, and Josh McDaniels. After the break, they discuss the matchup with the Bills on both sides of the ball and give their score predictions. 00:59 Is Drake Maye’s shoulder injury legit? 06:41 Why reported tension between Maye and Vrabel doesn’t make sense 14:06 Josh McDaniels’ relationship with Maye and Vrabel 18:45 Betterment 19:15 PrizePicks 21:11 Injury report + right guard dilemma 28:44 Betterment 29:14 Overall vibes with the Bills & Josh Allen 32:46 Who the Patriots need to worry about on the Bills’ offense 35:11 Greg’s thoughts on Jim Leonhard’s defense 42:54 Special teams matchup 44:35 Predictions The Greg Bedard Patriots Podcast on CLNS Media is Powered by:  💰 PrizePicks - Sign up at http://prizepicks.onelink.me/LME0/CLNS & Download the app today and use code CLNS to get $150 in lineups instantly if you win your first $5 lineup!
