Pablo Juarez-Bertadillo is a predator caught in a Genesee County, Michigan investigation. At the time of the sting, Juarez had been living in Burton, Michigan. He unlawfully immigrated to the United States from Mexico sometime around 2019. He worked in roofing. Juarez had been communicating with a decoy posing as a fifteen-year-old girl. At first, Juarez discussed paying $100 for sex with the girl. After learning of her age, he responded "oh really," followed by immediately requesting her address. Juarez asked the decoy if she was available and whether she was a police officer. Upon being assured that she was not, Juarez said that he would be at the location within five minutes. Seeing the impending confrontation as a test to his language skills, Chris told the decoy that he would need to utilize what he learned from his four years of honors-level Spanish classes in high school. When asked why he came to the house, Juarez told Chris that it was to work on the roof. In response, Chris asked Juarez how to say "bullshit" in Spanish.
