A federal judge in Washington, DC - Judge Emmett Sullivan - has issued an order that is a huge step in the direction of full transparency/full disclosure of the Epstein files.Glenn talks about Judge Sullivan's order directing acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to deliver to the court some of the unreacted Epstein files and supporting documentation proving that what Blanche has been saying is true, and signaling that the judge will not take Blanche's word for anything he says about the substance of the Epstein files or the nature of the redactions.Glenn also discusses why this may prove to be a pivotal ruling that ultimately could lead to full disclosure of all of the Epstein files. Donald Trump has pretty much announced that he'll be interfering in the upcoming midterm elections. We only need to look back to January 6, 2021, when Trump virtually ordered an angry mob to attack the US Capitol after lying to them, convincing them that their election was rigged. He said, 'if you don't fight like hell, you won't have a country anymore, now go to the Capitol and stop the certification - stop the steal!' Trump tried to use that angry mob to stop the certification of Joe Biden's election win and his election loss. So, of course, he is intending to interfere in the upcoming midterms. Why wouldn't he? He got away with it last time! And we've been hearing some recent rumblings from some of Trump's sycophants, about how he might try to use immigration officers - like ICE agents - to intimidate voters at the polls.Glenn sat down with a former Border Patrol agent Jenn Budd. Jenn shared her story about her journey from Border Patrol agent to immigrant advocate, which is what she's doing now. She also shared her concerns about how Trump might try to misuse the powers of immigration enforcement agencies to interfere in the upcoming midterm elections.Jenn is sounding the alarm, and Glenn thinks we would all do well to heed the call. He has said before that justice is a team sport. We all need to be in the game, including in an effort to protect and promote free and fair American elections.Find Jenn on Substack: jennbudd.substack.comFind Glenn on Substack: glennkirschner.substack.comSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
The New York Times has clobbered Trump and Todd Blanche and their dirty DOJ officials in court, forcing them to withdraw their lawless and abusive subpoenas for New York Times reporters AND THIER FAMILY MEMBERS! This kind of abuse of prosecutorial power is very embarrassing for Trump, for Blanche, for the Department of Justice, and for the American people.Find Glenn on Substack: glennkirschner.substack.comSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In this episode of Justice Matters, Glenn Kirschner joins Dean Obadalla on his Substack Live show to discuss the troubling confirmation hearing of Todd Blanche, who is vying for the position of Attorney General. Glenn passionately argues that a vote for Blanche equates to a vote against the survivors of the Epstein scandal, emphasizing the importance of accountability and justice for the victims. He critiques Blanche's dismissive attitude towards these survivors and highlights the alarming lack of investigation into the crimes related to Epstein's network. As the conversation unfolds, Glenn reflects on the broader implications of political power dynamics, the need for congressional investigations into Trump's actions, and the vital role of the electorate in safeguarding democracy. He also touches on the recent ICE shootings and the urgent need for reforms in law enforcement practices. Glenn calls for citizens to remain vigilant and engaged as the midterms approach, urging everyone to make sure to vote and focus on accountability and justice.Find Glenn on Substack: glennkirschner.substack.comSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Democrats in the House have announced they want to investigate and expose Donald Trump's dirty deals with the law firms that capitulated to him. Today's "demand" for information will be tomorrow's "subpoena" for information, once the Dems take control of the House. Glenn discusses this legal development, and highlights the importance to the cause of justice of aggressive congressional investigations into Donald Trump's executive branch misconduct.Find Glenn on Substack: glennkirschner.substack.comSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Donald Trump's DOJ officials are trying to use a rare specialized court, called the Alien Terrorist Removal Court, for the first time to get a judge to order the removal of an alleged alien terrorist. Not only did Trump's incompetent DOJ officials not get it right, they got humiliated in a short, one-page order that was issued by the judge (who happens to be a George W. Bush appointee).Glenn reviews the judge's order, which says, among other things, that the DOJ needs to be "more thoughtful" in its work.Find Glenn on Substack: glennkirschner.substack.comSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Glenn once again speaks on Substack. He dives deep into the pressing issues surrounding the upcoming midterm elections and the potential threats posed by Trump and his allies. He shares insights from his recent interviews with former Washington Governor Jay Inslee and former Border Patrol agent Jen Budd, both of whom highlight the alarming possibilities of federal interference at polling places. Glenn emphasizes the importance of understanding federal laws that prohibit military presence at polls and the need for proactive measures to safeguard our democratic process. With a call to action, he encourages listeners to engage with their state officials and to remain vigilant against any attempts to undermine the integrity of the elections.Find Glenn on Substack: glennkirschner.substack.comSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Donald Trump addressed the nation in primetime to fill the public airwaves with long-debunked election lies. In a truly remarkable self-own, Trump tried to convince everyone that China interfered in the 2020 election, but then he posted documents that signaled that it was Russia that tried to interfere in the 2020 election - in efforts to get TRUMP (not Biden) elected! But there are serious concerns that Trump may try to send military troops to the polls during the midterm elections, or that he may try to have the military seize ballots and/or voting machines. Military members must never lose sight of the fact that they took an oath of loyalty to the Constitution, not to a tyrant, a dictator, an autocrat or a president. Indeed, the survival of our republic depends on military members remembering and acting in accordance with that sworn oath.Find Glenn on Substack: glennkirschner.substack.comSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
