Series: Mark Part 16Scripture: Mark 5:1–20 In today’s episode, we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark and see Jesus step onto the shore in the region of the Gerasenes. There, He meets a man who is suffering terribly and living among the tombs. This story includes demons, sometimes the Bible also calls them unclean spirits, but we handle this carefully and remind kids of the most important truth: Jesus is stronger than darkness. As Jesus speaks with authority, the unclean spirits must obey Him. The man who had been alone, hurting, and in bondage is restored. When the people come and see him, he is sitting with Jesus, dressed, and in his right mind. What a beautiful picture of mercy and rescue. This episode helps kids see that Jesus does not only save and restore people so they can keep it to themselves. He gives His people a story to tell. Wherever Jesus places us—at home, with friends, at school, or in our community—we can tell others how much the Lord has done. Today’s key truth:Jesus is stronger than darkness, full of mercy, and wants us to share his goodness with others. ------------------ The Wonder Project: Subscriber support makes more great content like I Gotta Ask with Annie F. Scripture: Mark 4:35–41 Series: Mark Part 15 Have you ever been in a storm and felt afraid? In today’s episode, we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark and hear the incredible story of Jesus calming the storm. After a long day of teaching, Jesus and His disciples crossed the Sea of Galilee by boat. Many of the disciples were experienced fishermen, so they knew storms well—but this storm was terrifying. Today’s Key Truth:Storms do not mean Jesus has left us or stopped loving us. Jesus is powerful over creation, and He is also loving toward His people. When life feels scary, we can turn to Him, pray, ask for help, and remember His love shown clearly at the cross. This episode is part of our Gospel of Mark series. Keep listening as Mark shows us, little by little, who Jesus truly is. ----------------- Also, don’t forget to check out Minno, a wonderful Christian streaming option for kids and families. Scripture: Mark 4:21–34Series: Gospel of Mark, Part 14 In this episode, we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark as Jesus teaches the crowds using parables. Last time, we learned how people respond differently to God’s Word in the Parable of the Sower. Today, Jesus builds on that teaching and helps us understand something new: not just how we respond, but what God is doing. Through the pictures of a lamp, a growing seed, and a tiny mustard seed, Jesus teaches us: God’s truth is like a light—it is meant to be seen, not hidden God is always at work, even when we cannot see it His kingdom may start small, but it grows strong and cannot be stopped 🎨 DON'T miss Go Minno for faith filled shows you can trust. 📣 How Does My Child Get a Listener Shout-Out? Scripture: Mark 4:1–20 In this episode, we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark as Jesus teaches beside the lake and tells the Parable of the Sower. Jesus uses the picture of a farmer scattering seed to help us understand what happens in our hearts when we hear God’s Word. Kids will be invited to ask: How do I respond when I hear God's word ? In this story, the seed represents God’s Word, and the different soils represent the different ways people respond when they hear it. Some hearts are distracted, some seem joyful at first but have no root, some are crowded by worries and desires, and some receive the Word, accept it, and produce fruit. Big Takeaways: God’s Word is like seed planted in our hearts. Jesus teaches that people respond to God’s Word in different ways. Sin can make our hearts hard, shallow, distracted, or crowded. We need Jesus to forgive us, change us, and help us receive His Word by faith. The “crop” Jesus talks about is not corn or tomatoes—it is a changed life that looks more like Christ through love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. ---------- Don’t miss Go Minno for faith filled shows you can trust. ------------------- This week’s Bonus Audio: Bible Dive in the Family Library goes deeper into Mark 4:11–12, which can sound confusing at first. Mark 3:20–35 & 1 John 3:8 In today’s episode, we hear one of the most important questions anyone could ever ask: Who is Jesus really? Some people thought Jesus was out of His mind. Others accused Him of doing evil. But Jesus made the truth clear— He is the Son of God, and He came to destroy the works of the devil, rescue sinners, and bring people into the family of God. We also hear Jesus say something surprising and beautiful: “Whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother.” This episode helps children understand:-Jesus is the Son of God -Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil -People still respond to Jesus in different ways today -All who trust in Jesus belong to the family of God THANKS TO MINNO, you can enjoy faith filled shows with your family! 📚 Series: The Gospel of Mark Mark 3:7–19 🎧 Episode Summary: Why would Jesus choose these men? In today’s episode, we step into a moment where crowds are pressing in from every side—people eager to see Jesus, hear Him, and be healed. But then, something quieter—and just as important—happens. Jesus goes up on a mountainside… and begins calling people to Himself. One by one, He chooses twelve men—very different from each other—to be His apostles. But this wasn’t random. In this episode, kids will learn: Why Jesus chose twelve apostles What the word “apostle” means How this connects to the 12 tribes of Israel Why Jesus chose such a variety of people And what this teaches us about the family of God This story helps children see that the good news of Jesus isn’t just for one kind of person—it’s for everyone. 🧠 Key Teaching Moment: Jesus didn’t choose the same kind of people. He chose a very unlikely team—men with different jobs, personalities, and backgrounds. Why? Because the Gospel is for all people. 👉 Even though we are all different, Christians are brought together by one thing: We believe in Jesus. We love Him. And we follow Him. 2 Ways to keep the impact going!!!! Mark 3:1–6 In today’s story, Jesus enters a synagogue on the Sabbath and meets a man with a shriveled hand. While others watch closely—waiting to see if Jesus will break their rules—Jesus does something unexpected. He heals. But instead of celebrating, the religious leaders become angry. Why? Because they cared more about their rules… than people. In this episode, we explore what the Sabbath was meant to be, what the Pharisees misunderstood, and what it means to truly love God and others. 🔑 Key Truth God’s laws are rooted in love—and they teach us how to love Him and others well. Try asking your kids these questions this week: 👉 “Why does this rule exist?” 👉 “Does following it help us love others?” 👉 “Have you ever heard someone use one of God’s laws in the wrong way—maybe adding to it or twisting it?” Want to join the impact?
