As the incompetent Governor Herman von Strab bungles the defence through arrogance and denial, Commissar Sebastian Yarrick emerges as the heart of Imperial resistance, leading the desperate defence of Hive Hades against endless Ork assaults, Gargants, and siege warfare. From doomed Titan charges and the fall of Hive Helsreach to the dramatic arrival of the Blood Angels, Ultramarines, and Salamanders under Commander Dante, the episode traces a brutal campaign of attrition, heroism, and urban warfare that culminates in the collapse of the Ork invasion.
