CRISIS: TDECU Stadium EMPTIES, Houston Cougars’ Announced Attendance FALLS UNDER 70%

Houston Cougars’ empty seats spark questions as Big 12 momentum falters. Despite strong on-field performances and stars like Connor Wigman leading the charge, TDECU Stadium continues to see thousands of unfilled seats—even in marquee matchups. What’s truly keeping fans away when the product on the field is better than ever? The conversation focuses on Houston’s attendance trends, from highs during thrilling Peach Bowl runs to recent concerning dips, and how factors like 11 AM kickoffs, competing city attractions, and game-day routines impact “butts in seats.” Insights include the influence of timing, weather, game quality, and conference decisions on fan turnout, plus reflections on the effect a packed house (or lack thereof) has on player energy. As Oklahoma State looms and PM games become a hot topic, the question remains: what will it take for Houston fans to consistently fill TDECU Stadium and recapture the electric home-field advantage?00:00 Houston Cougars Attendance Issues08:36 Factors Behind Low Attendance22:19 Past Patterns & Future SolutionsBecome an everydayer!
