HELLO OCTOBER! Carolina Hurricanes Kick Off October Against the Washington Capitals

The Carolina Hurricanes head into October looking for their first win of the 2026-27 season. They kick off a new month of hockey against the Washington Capitals in the first Metropolitan Division game of the season. What are three things to preview the upcoming Friday night game? On the Friday Edition of Locked On Hurricanes, Zach begins the show by sharing his thoughts on the Hurricanes needing to take advantage on the power play. After going 0 for 6 on opening night, it'll be nice to see the power play strike in game two of the season. Also, can the penalty kill go perfect again? Secondly, Zach shares his thoughts on how the Hurricanes need to shoot the puck at will, like they're known for. Being under 20 shots in a game is unheard of for the Hurricanes. Who really needs to be shooting at will Friday night? Lastly, Zach concludes the show by sharing which Hurricanes players to watch against the Capitals. Who does he think will score the first goal of the season? All of that and more, on the latest edition of Locked On Hurricanes.    Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms: 🎧 https://link.chtbl.com/LOCarolinaHurricanes?sid=YouTube Locked On NHL League-Wide: Every Team, Fantasy, Prospects & More: 🎧 https://linktr.ee/LockedOnNHL   Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Aura CybersecurityStart your free trial today at https://aura.com/aware.  Protect yourself now.  Butcher BoxIf you're looking for an easier way to get great meals on the table, give ButcherBox a try.
