Pelicans WIN, But Their Starting Lineup Already Looks Like a PROBLEM

The New Orleans Pelicans opened preseason with a 116-110 comeback win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, but the final score hides a major concern. Zion Williamson, Trey Murphy, Dejounte Murray, Herb Jones and Yves Missi struggled badly together, with poor spacing and defensive breakdowns against an undermanned Thunder team. If this is going to be the Pelicans’ starting five, Jamahl Mosley has work to do.The good news? The bench completely changed the game. Derik Queen, Jeremiah Fears, Jordan Poole and Bennedict Mathurin helped fuel the comeback, while New Orleans also showed real improvement on the defensive glass. Jake Madison breaks down what mattered from the Pelicans’ first preseason game, what can be dismissed as preseason noise, and which problems could follow this team into the regular season.Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms🎧 https://lockedonpodcasts.com/podcasts/locked-on-pelicans/Locked On NBA League-Wide: Every Team, Fantasy, Draft, WNBA & More🎧 https://lockedonpodcasts.com/leagues/nba#NewOrleansPelicans #ZionWilliamson #NBA #pelicansSupport Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!IndeedListeners of this show get a $75 Sponsored Job Credit to help give your job the premium placement it deserves at http://Indeed.com/podcast.BetterhelpThis episode is sponsored by BetterHelp.
