Buffalo Sabres look to BUILD MOMENTUM in matchup with Dallas Stars

The Buffalo Sabres are on a two game winning streak, both in games against the Western Conference, and they have another one on Thursday night against the Dallas Stars. The Stars have been slow out of the gates of the 2026-27 season, losing two of three to teams that did not make the playoffs last year. How strong an opponent is this for the Sabres? It's still a veteran group that should be expected to make the playoffs this season, with a great goaltender in Jake Oettinger.Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen surprisingly gets the net after a very strong game by Colten Ellis on Tuesday. What this start could tell us about the rotation going forward, Josh Doan's injury, and what the top line will likely look like in this game if Doan can or cannot play. Peyton Krebs has looked good enough to stay up with Tage Thompson, and should be expected to play there. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!OdooGreat organizations win because operations matter.
