**Dragon Ball Super: Beerus NEEDS to Fix What Went Wrong.** We've been waiting YEARS for the **Galactic Patrol / Moro arc**, so why is Toei taking us back to the beginning of Dragon Ball Super? At first glance, **Dragon Ball Super: Beerus** might look like another remake or even a simple cash grab. But the more you look at what Toei is actually doing, the more interesting this project becomes. The official **ENHANCED edition** of Dragon Ball Super isn't simply an upscale. Toei says the project includes **extensive new cuts, revisions to existing scenes, complete re-rendering of the footage, newly recorded dubbing, new score and sound effects, and a full reconstruction of the story** — with the goal of more faithfully expressing Akira Toriyama's original ideas and worldbuilding. And honestly... **Dragon Ball Super needed this.** When Super originally premiered in 2015, its early production became infamous for rushed and inconsistent animation, with **Episode 5's Goku vs. Beerus fight** becoming one of the most notorious examples. But rather than simply criticize the animators, we're looking at the bigger production problem — and what a new approach could mean for Dragon Ball's future. Because Toei has also officially announced **Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol**, which will continue the story after the Tournament of Power and bring **Planet-Eater Moro** to the anime. So why go back to Beerus? Could this be about building a stronger foundation before Dragon Ball finally moves forward? We also talk about Toei's major **One Piece production schedule change**, which moves the flagship series toward approximately **26 new episodes per year** beginning in 2026. While there is no official confirmation that One Piece staff are being moved onto Dragon Ball, the broader shift toward giving major anime productions more breathing room could have important implications for the future quality of Dragon Ball. And this one gets personal. I talk about discovering **Dragon Ball in 1995**, having my parents drive me to the only anime store I knew of in Memphis so I could buy Japanese Dragon Ball manga that I couldn't even read, making my first terrible **“Temu Goku”** sculpture in middle-school art class, and how Dragon Ball ultimately helped inspire my passion for **weightlifting and fitness**. Because Dragon Ball wasn't just an anime I watched. ** It became part of who I am.** And that's why the future of Dragon Ball — and the legacy of **Akira Toriyama** — matters so much to me. With **Dragon Ball Super: Beerus officially premiering in Japan October 11, 2026**, is this the version of Super that Dragon Ball fans deserved from the beginning? And if Toei gets this right... **Moro is waiting.** 🔥 **What do YOU think? Is the Beerus remake necessary, or should Toei have gone straight to Moro?** 👇 Let me know in the comments! --- ## ⏱️ CHAPTERS 00:00 Why Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Matters 00:35 Is the Beerus Remake Just a Cash Grab? 02:30 Why Is Toei Going Back to Beerus? 04:20 The Original Dragon Ball Super Production 06:20 The Infamous Episode 5 Animation 08:30 This Isn't Just an Upscale 10:20 Why Dragon Ball Needs a Stronger Foundation 12:10 One Piece's Major Production Change 14:10 Less Rushing, More Quality 15:30 Why Not Just Start Moro? 17:00 Akira Toriyama's Legacy 19:00 My Dragon Ball Story 21:00 The Temu Goku 22:00 How Dragon Ball Got Me Into Fitness 23:30 What Dragon Ball's Legacy Means 25:00 The Future of Dragon Ball 26:30 Final Thoughts — Give Me Moro! --- 🐉 **DRAGON BALL SUPER: BEERUS** 📅 **Premieres October 11, 2026 in Japan** 🎨 Original Work, Story & Character Design: **Akira Toriyama** ⚡ ENHANCED edition of Dragon Ball Super 🔥 New footage • Reworked scenes • Re-rendered visuals • New dubbing • New score & sound effects --- If you grew up with Dragon Ball, **this one is for you.** If Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Trunks or the rest of the Dragon Ball family were part of your childhood, tell me your story below. **What did Dragon Ball mean to YOU?** And most importantly... **Are you ready for Moro?** #DragonBallSuper #DragonBall #DragonBallSuperBeerus #Goku #Vegeta #AkiraToriyama #Moro

👻 Ghost in the Shell Episode 7: “Bye Bye Clay” — WHAT IS LIFE? Ghost in the Shell Episode 7, “Bye Bye Clay,” may be the most important episode of the series so far. In this deep-dive review and anime podcast, we finally explore the story that helped inspire the legendary 1995 Ghost in the Shell film, while diving into one of the franchise's biggest questions: What actually makes something alive? This episode takes Ghost in the Shell into fascinating territory as an AI inhabiting a cybernetic body claims to be a living, conscious entity. Is it simply a sophisticated program, or has something entirely new been born? We break down the episode's ideas about artificial intelligence, consciousness, cybernetic life, human identity, evolution, and the meaning of a “ghost.” We also compare “Bye Bye Clay” to Masamune Shirow's original manga and Mamoru Oshii's 1995 classic, examining what changed, what was preserved, and how this new Science SARU adaptation interprets one of the most important stories in Ghost in the Shell history. And then we get into one of the most fascinating aspects of the episode: Shirow's visual interpretation of the creation of life. Is the imagery showing us the birth of a new form of existence — something neither human nor machine? 🔥 Is this the episode where Ghost in the Shell finally becomes the philosophical masterpiece we've been waiting for? We also discuss the influence of Neon Genesis Evangelion, the evolution of AI, the future of cybernetic life, and whether artificial intelligence could eventually become something humanity can no longer define as simply “a machine.” 💬 What do YOU think makes something alive? If an AI can think, evolve, experience consciousness, and claim that it wants to live — is it alive? ⏱️ CHAPTERS 00:00 Introduction to Ghost in the Shell & Episode Overview 02:03 Synopsis of “Bye Bye Clay” & The AI Inside the Cybernetic Body 03:48 Initial Reactions & Thematic Significance 05:54 Visual Artistry & Animation Excellence 08:05 What Is Life? — Consciousness & Existence 12:09 Comparing the 1995 Film & Original Manga 16:09 The Visual Sequence of Life, Creation & Rebirth 19:55 Neon Genesis Evangelion & Other Anime Influences 24:01 The Evolution of AI & Cybernetic Life Forms 28:02 The Ethics & Philosophy of AI as Life 31:55 Final Thoughts — AI, Humanity & Our Future 🔥 WHY THIS EPISODE MATTERS “Bye Bye Clay” isn't just another Ghost in the Shell case. This is where the series starts asking the question at the very heart of the franchise: If something wasn't born human, can it still become alive? The answer could completely change how we understand Motoko Kusanagi, the Puppet Master, artificial intelligence, and the Ghost in the Shell universe itself. If you're a fan of Ghost in the Shell, Stand Alone Complex, the 1995 anime film, Masamune Shirow, cyberpunk anime, artificial intelligence, philosophy, or anime deep dives, this is an episode you don't want to miss. 👍 LIKE if you enjoyed the discussion 💬 COMMENT with your interpretation of “Bye Bye Clay” 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for more Ghost in the Shell reviews, anime podcasts, manga discussions, and deep dives. #GhostInTheShell #GhostInTheShellEpisode7 #ByeByeClay #MasamuneShirow #ScienceSARU #MotokoKusanagi #PuppetMaster #StandAloneComplex #GhostInTheShell1995 #AnimeReview #AnimePodcast #CyberpunkAnime #ArtificialIntelligence #NeonGenesisEvangelion #AnimeDiscussion #NerdyJockMedia
🔥 GHOST IN THE SHELL EPISODE 6: DUMB BARTER --HAS MAJOR GONE TOO FAR?! Ghost in the Shell Episode 6, "Dumb Barter," gives us another visually stunning chapter from Science SARU — but this time, the biggest problem might not be the government corruption. It might be MOTOKO KUSANAGI herself. In this episode review and anime podcast, we break down Major's increasingly twisted behavior, including her decision to let Section 9 believe she was critically injured just to win a bet. We also dive into Togu Soma's revenge, his history with Major, and the disturbing moral questions surrounding what Motoko has done in the past. But there's a bigger issue developing with this adaptation: HOW MANY TIMES CAN GHOST IN THE SHELL REPEAT THE GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION STORY? We've now seen corruption, government manipulation, exploitation, hacking, and political conspiracies repeatedly throughout the series. Is "Dumb Barter" finally showing us the limitations of this formula? Or are these recurring themes building toward something bigger? We also compare the series to GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX, discuss whether faithfully following the original manga is becoming a double-edged sword, and ask the biggest question facing this 10-episode adaptation: 👉 CAN GHOST IN THE SHELL DELIVER THE STORY DEPTH FANS EXPECT BEFORE THE SEASON ENDS? And of course, we have to talk about the animation. Science SARU continues to deliver some absolutely incredible visuals — but can amazing animation make up for questionable storytelling? 💬 WHAT DID YOU THINK OF GHOST IN THE SHELL EPISODE 6? Is Major becoming one of the most interesting characters in the series, or has the show taken her too far? And are you enjoying the story despite its flaws? Let us know in the comments! 📺 CHAPTERS 00:00 Introduction to Ghost in the Shell 03:02 Exploring the Episode's Themes 05:29 Character Analysis and Plot Development 08:53 Visuals vs. Storytelling 11:47 Expectations vs. Reality 21:48 Morality and Character Complexity 29:50 Is this show worth the time investment 33:42 Faithful Adaptations: A Double-Edged Sword 47:12 Guilty Pleasures: Finding Joy in Flaws 51:22 Looking Ahead: Future Episodes and Anticipations 45:43 Animation Breakthroughs: The New Last Airbender Movie 👍 ENJOYED THE EPISODE? 🔥 **Ghost in the Shell Episode 5: Phantom Fund** delivers another visually stunning chapter in Science SARU's adaptation, but is the story beginning to repeat itself? In this in-depth review and discussion, we break down Episode 5's biggest moments, the incredible animation, the return of the **Puma Sisters**, the standout role of the **Fuchikomas**, and whether the show's rapid pacing is preventing it from reaching the philosophical heights of the 1995 film and **Stand Alone Complex**. We also debate whether the series relies too heavily on recurring themes like government corruption, cybercrime, and political conspiracy, and ask the biggest question facing this adaptation: **Can a 10-episode season deliver the depth that Ghost in the Shell is famous for?** 💬 **What did YOU think of Episode 5: Phantom Fund?** Is Science SARU creating the definitive manga adaptation, or do you prefer the storytelling of Stand Alone Complex?
