Trump to Nominate Blanche as AG; Israel Will Continue Operations in Lebanon, Says Katz

President Donald Trump announced late Wednesday evening that he will nominate Todd Blanche to serve as attorney general.“We are going to make him permanent attorney general,” Trump said at a Rose Garden event.Blanche was tapped as acting attorney general after Trump announced on April 2 that Attorney General Pam Bondi was transitioning to an important role in the private sector.Israel will continue its operations on the ground in southern Lebanon despite agreeing to a ceasefire, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on June 4.His comments were made a day after Lebanon and Israel agreed to implement a ceasefire during talks in Washington, with the deal dependent on a halt in strikes from the Hezbollah terrorist group.
