Ruby Rose | Hollywood, Healing & Her First-Ever Podcast Interview!

#983. Ruby Rose has spent the last several years largely out of the spotlight. Now, she’s ready to talk, and she chose Off the Vine for her first-ever podcast interview. In a rare and deeply personal conversation, Ruby opens up to Kaitlyn about the life people didn’t see behind the fame, including a childhood that shaped her in ways she’s still unpacking today and the surprising reason acting was never actually part of her plan. She looks back at risking nearly everything to create Break Free, the viral film that ultimately led to Orange Is the New Black, and what it was really like to become one of the most recognizable faces in the world almost overnight. But at the height of it all, something changed. Ruby gets candid about the experiences that made her step away from Hollywood, what that time away helped her realize about herself, and why Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test became the unexpected project that brought her back in front of the camera, this time with no character to hide behind. It’s Ruby Rose in a way you haven’t heard her before: funny, incredibly open, and ready to tell her story on her own terms. If you’re LOVING this podcast, please follow and leave a rating and review below!
