Rain Upon the Blinding Dust

ScripturePsalm 84:5-7 (NIV)Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs;the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.RefrainEven in the valley of weeping, there are springs.QuoteCharles Dickens, from Great Expectations"Heaven knows we need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overlying our hard hearts.I was better after I had cried, than before, more sorry, more aware of my own ingratitude, more gentle."
