This week on the Pursuit of the Paranormal Weekly News Round-Up, Greg looks at three of the biggest stories from the world of UFOs, UAP and the paranormal.David Grusch has returned to The Joe Rogan Experience and says he believes a form of UAP disclosure could happen before Donald Trump leaves office. During the same conversation, Joe Rogan also revealed that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller allegedly told him that information about UFOs was “going to come out”.We also look at the strange blue-white object spotted during SpaceX’s historic Starship Flight 14. The footage quickly sparked UFO speculation online, but a closer look at the livestream may offer a much more conventional explanation. And finally, we head to Castletown on the Isle of Man, where the Sixth Senses Paranormal Society investigated the Vintage Tea Room and reported recording what they believe could have been the voice of a child.Three very different stories, but all raising the same question: where does the evidence end, and interpretation begin? The Pursuit of the Paranormal Weekly News Round-Up is produced in association with Beyond Our Ordinary and UFO Identified.
William C. Grave bought his first home at just 19 years old as a complete sceptic. Before he had even moved in, a friend looked towards the empty property and asked a question that would eventually change the course of William’s life:“Who’s the lady in the bay window?”More than two decades later, multiple people have independently reported seeing what appears to be the same elderly woman inside the house, described with grey hair, a dark cardigan, white blouse and an unnervingly piercing stare. In this episode of Pursuit of the Paranormal, Greg and Ash sit down with William to explore the extraordinary story behind The Lady in the Bay Window.William recounts one of the strangest episodes in the house: American one-cent coins repeatedly appearing in places where they seemingly should not have been. What began with a coin appearing on the bedroom floor escalated over several nights until William says one actually struck him on the leg while he was alone in the shower. Later, a single coin left on his bedside table appeared to have become two.He also describes witnessing what he considers one of the most compelling incidents personally: a spring-loaded door handle moving down in front of him and his wife, the door opening, then the handle snapping back up as the door slammed shut.We also discuss investigations carried out inside the property, including a 24-hour visit from Ghosts on Trent. Footage recorded while nobody was inside appeared to contain unexplained knocking and tapping, while another camera captured what looked remarkably like the figure of a woman standing at a window. When William showed the image to his father, he was sent a photograph of William’s late mother on her wedding day. William admits the resemblance was difficult to unsee, while remaining careful not to claim that this proves what was captured.Despite everything that has happened, William still stops short of declaring his house definitively haunted. He knows something unusual appears to be happening, but remains open to the possibility that paranormal experiences could ultimately have an explanation we do not yet understand. The story has since become far bigger than the house itself. William’s first book has raised more than £57,000 for Weston Park Cancer Charity, fulfilling a promise he made to his mother before she died.We also talk about The Lady in the Bay Window theatre production, William’s Beyond the Bay Window podcast, the launch of paranormal-events platform HauntSeek, and the newly announced film deal that will bring the story to the screen as a found-footage project. Is this a genuine haunting? Coincidence? An unknown physical phenomenon? Or something else entirely?Join Greg and Ash for the remarkable story of The Lady in the Bay Window.Find William C. No filler. Just the strangest stories of the week.🎙 Pursuit of the Paranormal 👽 UFOs • Ghosts • Paranormal • High Strangeness
What if paranormal activity could be measured, analysed — and eventually even predicted? In this episode of Pursuit of the Paranormal, Greg and Ash are joined by Andy Guy of SCIRE Tech for a deep dive into the technology, data and science behind paranormal investigation.Andy explains how an early experience at Woodchester Mansion led him into years of investigation, environmental monitoring and eventually the development of specialist paranormal research equipment through SCIRE Tech. The conversation goes far beyond flashing K2 meters and REM pods. We get into EMF contamination, temperature, air pressure, radiation, environmental anomalies, moon phases and the importance of understanding exactly what your equipment is measuring.Andy also discusses the idea of a preponderance of evidence — where multiple independent measurements change around the same unexplained event — and his long-term goal of using enough data to identify patterns that may eventually help predict when certain types of anomalous activity are more likely to occur. Then things get even stranger.Could some apparitions be connected to parallel realities rather than the dead? Could consciousness exist beyond the brain? Why do UFO encounters, cryptid reports and paranormal experiences sometimes appear to overlap? And could AI eventually analyse millions of paranormal data points and reveal patterns that humans have completely missed?Greg also revisits the bizarre Delamere investigation where an Estes session, unexplained electrical interference and unidentified objects in the sky appeared to occur at the same time. The deeper the conversation goes, the bigger the question becomes:Are paranormal investigators actually measuring ghosts — or something far stranger?Find out more about Andy and SCIRE Tech: https://www.sciretech.co.uk🎙️ Pursuit of the Paranormal Strange Places. Could Bigfoot—or something very much like it—be hiding in the British countryside? In this short bonus episode, we speak with documentary filmmaker Ted Sharp about his plans for an ambitious new film investigating reports of Bigfoot-like creatures across the UK. Ted reveals what inspired the project, the stories and locations he hopes to investigate, and how he plans to approach one of Britain’s most controversial cryptid mysteries. Will the documentary uncover evidence of an unknown creature—or reveal something equally fascinating about the people searching for it? Join us as we explore the plans behind a UK Bigfoot documentary currently in the making. What do you think: could an undiscovered creature really be roaming Britain’s forests? Let us know in the comments.
What happens when someone who never really believed in the paranormal suddenly finds themselves running a haunted location? This week on Pursuit of the Paranormal, Greg and Ash are joined by Scott Kaye from The Daily Detour Paranormalfor a brilliant conversation about how a spontaneous paranormal investigation turned into an obsession — and eventually led Scott and the team to take over The Old Vicarage in Wakefield as their own investigation location.Scott takes us right back to the beginning, including an early investigation at 30 East Drive, strange REM pod and music-box activity, and the bizarre story of a set of rosary beads that repeatedly disappeared, returned damaged and ultimately ended up locked away in the team’s paranormal museum. We also get into The Old Vicarage itself and the stories surrounding the building — reported shadow figures, unexplained whistling and knocking, the feeling of being watched, physical sensations experienced by investigators and the story of a supposed Victorian boy named Jack associated with the basement. Then there are the objects.Scott talks about The Vault, the Vicarage’s collection of supposedly haunted and historic items, including a new object allegedly connected with a young boy — and Bob the Clown, an object with a history connected to My Haunted Hotel / The Old King’s Head in Chester before eventually finding its way to The Daily Detour. But what makes this conversation particularly interesting is Scott’s willingness to question his own experiences. Even after moments that felt completely paranormal at the time, he talks openly about going back afterwards, looking for ordinary explanations and asking whether an experience really proves anything at all.And there’s one experience he still struggles to explain: while investigating The Junction Inn, Scott says he heard what sounded like a young girl crying — almost immediately followed by a REM pod activating in another room. It remains one of the moments that has stayed with him most. What if an alien invasion didn't arrive in spaceships? What if it arrived as an idea? This week, Greg and Ash are joined by filmmaker Peter Stylianou, writer and director of the new UFO/sci-fi horror film THE NICE ONES.Inspired partly by the strange social psychology Peter observed during lockdown, THE NICE ONES explores what he describes as a kind of “mind virus” — people believing they are acting for the greater good while becoming increasingly incapable of seeing themselves reflected in the people they oppose. That idea eventually became something much darker:“Maybe the mind virus is the alien.”But the conversation takes an unexpected turn when Peter reveals an extraordinary personal experience.Years ago in Camden, Peter says he looked at a man he knew and noticed something deeply strange about his eyes.At first, Peter assumed he was wearing novelty contact lenses. Then the man blinked. And his eyes appeared completely normal.Peter doesn't claim to know what happened. He considers unusual lighting, perception, psychology and even the possibility that his own subconscious created an image to warn him about the person. But he also leaves open another possibility:What if he actually saw something? That experience became one of the inspirations behind THE NICE ONES.From there, the conversation moves deep into the territory Pursuit listeners know and love — UFOs and UAP, consciousness, interdimensional theories, Carl Jung, manifestation, poltergeist phenomena, astral travel, spiritual experiences and the question of whether some paranormal encounters might exist somewhere between an external phenomenon and the human mind.We also discuss the viral “that motherf***er is not real” plane incident and how the experience of suddenly becoming the focus of millions of people helped inspire the film's protagonist. And Peter takes us behind the camera to reveal how an independent filmmaker creates ambitious sci-fi on a micro-budget, why one enormous manor house became multiple locations, the realities of film distribution and why actually paying to watch independent films matters.Plus:The McPherson Tape.Paranormal Activity.Dogman.Project Blue Beam.Spiritual protection.Strange synchronicities. And why the things we cannot see may be far more frightening than the monsters we can. This one goes places.THE NICE ONES — coming soon.FOLLOW THE NICE ONESInstagram: @theniceonesfilmX: @TheNiceOneFilmFacebook: The Nice Ones 2026TikTok: @the.nice.ones10Website: redguerillafilms.com/theniceonesPursuit of the Paranormal is hosted by Greg & Ash, exploring UFOs/UAP, ghosts, consciousness, cryptids and the stranger edges of human experience.
What if the biggest misconception about crop circles isn't that they're made by humans...…but that human involvement means the mystery is solved? In this episode of Pursuit of the Paranormal, Greg and Ash are joined by Citizen D, journalist, author and former crop-circle maker, to explore the extraordinary hidden world behind one of Britain's most misunderstood phenomena.Citizen D is the author of It Can't Be People: Voices from the Inner Circle, a book built around first-hand accounts from the people who have actually gone into the fields at night and created crop formations. And what they report completely changes the conversation.Yes — humans can create astonishingly complex crop circles. But according to Citizen D and other experienced makers, that is only the beginning. We get into:how crop circles are really designed and constructed in darkness;why Wiltshire, Avebury and other ancient landscapes repeatedly become the centre of the phenomenon;mysterious orbs and lights appearing during and after formations are made;separate teams independently creating virtually identical designs;dreams and compulsions apparently directing makers toward specific symbols and fields;unexplained additions appearing in formations after their creators have left;strange figures and presences encountered in the fields;the Oz Factor and whether anomalous experiences can temporarily alter perception;synchronicities that seem almost impossible to dismiss as coincidence;whether crop-circle makers are creating the phenomenon — or somehow participating in something much larger.Greg also shares his own experience inside the enormous Jellyfish crop circle near Wayland's Smithy, leading to a revelation from Citizen D about who actually made it — and the bizarre story behind its design. The conversation eventually arrives at a much stranger possibility:What if crop circles are human-made… but not entirely human-directed?Are the makers unconsciously communicating with one another? Are they accessing some shared field of information?Or is a non-human intelligence interacting with the process?Citizen D doesn't claim to have the answer. And that's exactly what makes this conversation so fascinating.📖 It Can't Be People: Voices from the Inner Circle by Citizen D is available in paperback, Kindle and audiobook.👻 Pursuit of the Paranormal Podcast 🌐 www.pursuitoftheparanormal.co.uk 📲 TikTok: @PursuitParanormal 📷 Instagram: @pursuitoftheparanormal
