Today we are exploring the mysterious "Lightning Pyramid" of Ta Keo in Cambodia — a massive five-tier structure built with an incredibly rare, ultra-hard sandstone that glows white at the top. The only pyramid in Cambodia made from this material. Official history says it was built in 975 AD, struck by lightning, and abandoned unfinished. But after walking the site and examining the evidence, I believe this pyramid was completed — and served a far more sophisticated purpose. Join me on the ground as we examine: • The extraordinary stonework and hundreds of mysterious spindles • The unique weathering patterns inside the towers • The carved sockets and mounting points under the pedestals • The tight water moat and connection to the giant East Baray reservoir • The inscriptions that may have been misinterpreted for over a century.I break down the official story, the geology, and why I believe Ta Keo may have been part of a much larger, older, and more complex ancient system. If you're into ancient mysteries, lost technology, and questioning mainstream archaeology, this one is for you.► Join us boots-on-the-ground in Cambodia & Laos – January 2027 Tour - https://www.royalangkor-tours.com/tours/mysteries-of-cambodia-tour-laos-extension-secretsinstone/ ► Gaia Ancient Civilizations Conference August 1: https://marketplace.gaia.com/products/ancient-civilizations-conference-2026► Watch my full presentation from the Quest for Ancient Civilizations conference for more on Cambodia's pyramids: https://youtu.be/S0Bz7yyXzMQ?si=hWL9KY_52G9q4rgV
🚨 Join me as I take you to one of Peru’s most intriguing and least-known megalithic sites — Tarawasi. In this episode, you’ll get on-the-ground footage of the site plus my exclusive sit-down interview with Brien Foerster right on the steps of Tarawasi — his very first visit. He shares his first impressions, thoughts on possible pre-diluvian origins, and comparisons to other megalithic sites across Peru. Located just 70km west of Cusco, Tarawasi features a massive 100-meter outer wall built in a stunning honeycomb pattern with precision-shaped andesite blocks, a raised platform with 28 trapezoidal niches, and clear evidence of multiple construction eras. We examine the differences between the sophisticated megalithic work and later Inca-style repairs, discuss the site’s unusual northeast-southwest alignment, unusual stone damage possibly linked to an ancient cataclysm, and why the official “mid-1400s Inca tambo” story rests on surprisingly thin evidence. We also touch on the elongated skulls and other mysteries from our unforgettable week together.👉 Join Derek Olson and me in Cambodia January 2027! https://www.royalangkor-tours.com/tours/mysteries-of-cambodia-tour-laos-extension-secretsinstone/ 👉 Brien Foerster’s tours & books: https://hiddenincatours.com/ 👉 Brien Foerster’s YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@brienfoerster 👉 Sorcerers in Stone YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@sorcerersofstone If you enjoy these explorations, please subscribe, hit the like button, and turn on notifications so you never miss an episode. After traveling extensively in Cambodia and studying its ancient sites firsthand, I'm challenging long-held assumptions about Cambodia's ancient past. In my presentation at the Quest for Ancient Civilizations Conference, I shared mysterious LiDAR findings, Cambodia's lost ancient technologies and potential global connections long overlooked. I also answer great questions from the audience at the end of the video - where some interesting revelations are disclosed!
Deep in Thailand lies the ancient moated city of Si Thep, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, surrounded by enormous earthworks, reservoirs, and more than one hundred ancient structures. But the most intriguing monument sits just outside the city walls — a pyramid that for centuries appeared to be nothing more than a natural hill. Then archaeologists excavated the mound in 2008 anddiscovered a massive stepped pyramid hidden beneath. Officially, the site is attributed to the little-known Dvaravati culture of the 6th–9th centuries AD. But its architecture, precision sculptures, and the strange artifacts raise seriousquestions. Why is the pyramid unlike anything else in Thailand? How doyou explain the precision sculptures? Was the pyramid deliberately buried, and why?How do you explain the undeciphered script linked to India and Indonesia? In this episode of Secrets in Stone, we explore one of themost mysterious ancient sites in Southeast Asia.Links:Endless Journey YouTube Channel: @endlessjoureytravelsLinked Episode: Rewriting Cambodia’s History https://youtu.be/PedK7MZ-NSI?si=cd2IpuZtGH3I3VnvLinked Episode: Sambor Prei Kuk https://youtu.be/GyxEQ24r3sg?si=b8HCx-63B8Ov-EQILinked Episode: Koh Ker Pyramid with Shiva Lingams https://youtu.be/l4ep1QxufRc?si=j-wvyp5pcYtR1Mx5#ancienthistory #lostcivilizations #ancientpyramids #thailandhistory #archaeology
The Clovis point is one of the most extraordinary andmysterious Ice Age technologies ever discovered. It appeared suddenly, fully formed and with no developmental history. It was one of the fastest and widest technological dispersals in human prehistory… and it appeared immediatelybefore the Younger Dryas catastrophe. In this episode, I follow the Clovis story from itsdiscovery to its collapse, and ask the question archaeology won’t ask: Where did this technology come from — and why does the most advanced lithic craftsmanship come first?Archaeologists already accept that Ice Age technology canappear suddenly, reach an extreme level of mastery, and then decline over time - as long as we’re talking about stone tools. Why is the same idea rejected when we look at ancient megalithic architecture – this is an archaeological DOUBLESTANDARD!The Clovis point is a true mystery. It’s also a reminderthat human history may not be a straight line upward — but that sometimes, the greatest achievements lie buried at the very beginning of the story. Tune in for an unforgettable episode – and stay tuned untilthe end, where I will show you Clovis, Paleo, Archaic, and other lithics from MY OWN inherited family collection —so you can see the “devolution” for yourself. Sometimes, the story becomes clearest when you hold it in yourhands!Topics covered: Clovis fluting & engineering •“Clovis First” and why it collapsed • Monte Verde • The Gault Site • Clovis aches (and why they matter) • Folsom & Bison antiquus • Archaic points • Arrowheads• The archaeological double standard.#Clovis #Arrowheads #FlintKnapping #Paleoindian#YoungerDryas #Megaliths #AncientHistory

Join me on a solo adventure to Vat Phou, a remote UNESCO site in southern Laos. This isn't your typical temple— it’s a lost megalithic sanctuary with serpent carvings and a peculiar crocodile stone, precision stonework, evidence of lost technology and signs of an ancient catastrophe that tilted boulders and reshaped the landscape. I'll walk you through the site's terraces, barays, and scattered ruins, sharingfirsthand observations. Could this site predate the inscriptions by centuries or more, built by a lost ancient culture? From lathe-marked spindles to LiDAR, we'll explore why Vat Phou feels out of sync with other ancient sites in theregion.
I've been digging deep into Cambodia's ancient history! What I’ve discovered has truly surprised me, and led me to believe that much of what we accept about Cambodia's ancient past could be COMPLETELY WRONG. In this episode, we cover the TOP 5 CLUES that could completely rewrite Cambodia's timeline: 1) Dating techniques that don’t tell the full story; 2) Cambodia’s many overlooked pyramids; 3) the 2012 LiDAR results that revealed massive mound fields and mile-long spirals; 4) Masterful stone sculptures that point to a possible earlier and forgotten civilization, and 5) Sophisticated, precision artifacts that were uncovered across many of Cambodia’s oldest sites. Cambodia's ancient secrets are just beginning to surface - with more from my on-site research in Cambodia and Laos coming soon!Sources Cited in this Video: French School of the Far East Cambodian Photo Databasehttps://collection.efeo.fr/ws/web/app/report/les-fonds.html
