Meanwhile, Michols’s dinner with his semi-estranged mom goes south while Lake reconnects with her dad, with some caveats; Maddi gets pressure from her intense mom for grandchildren. The So.Gay soiree happens with a bang; Grace Lily makes a sad cameo and Emmy continues to make things weird. Then Michols gets an email that changes the very course of Republic herstory.
