Episode Description from the Publisher

In the latest episode of Small Market Bias, host Paul Garcia discussed the following topics: (01:01) The New York Knicks' defense held the San Antonio Spurs to 95 points, as the Knicks took homecourt advantage from the Spurs in a Game 1 win on the road. (05:00) For the Spurs, they had a cold shooting night from three and were held to fewer paint points than usual. Victor Wembanyama led the way with 26 points, but he didn't get many looks close to the basket. Rookie Dylan Harper had a strong first half, but then didn't play many minutes in the fourth quarter. (20:57) The Spurs played good enough defense to win the game, holding the Knicks to 105 points, but in the end, it wasn't enough due to the struggles on offense. The Spurs can still find areas to improve, like their paint defense, where the Knicks scored 50 paint points, and how they want to guard Jalen Brunson, who scored 19 of his 30 points in the second half. (31:06) Looking ahead to Game 2 on Friday back in San Antonio, where the Spurs need to find some adjustments that can help them even the series to 1-1.
