We talk about how the Panthers might call the Pittsburgh Steelers about possibly acquiring OLB Alex Highsmith via a trade. Alex and I discuss the several reasons why the Steelers aren't likely to trade Highsmith this summer. We also discuss what the Steelers should look for in the way of compensation if they even consider trading Highsmith away. Which players on the Steelers' current 91-man roster have the greatest chance of starting training camp on either the PUP or NFI list next week? Alex and I attempt to answer that question the best we can. There are now three NFL draft picks that remain unsigned as of Friday morning and included in that list is Steelers QB Drew Allar. Alex and I discuss how we still expect Allar to sign his rookie contract by Wednesday. After thoroughly discussing the latest topical subjects and news concerning the Steelers, Alex and I talk in-depth about the final seven players in my annual 90-in-30 training camp preview series. The seven players we discuss are OLB T.J. Watt, OLB Julius Welschof, WR Levi Wentz, RET/WR Kaden Wetjen, ILB Payton Wilson, WR Roman Wilson, and LB Jacoby Windmon. We give the summer outlook for each player and the chances a few of them have at sticking in Pittsburgh once the preseason ends. Will Payton Wilson log more special teams snaps than WR Roman Wilson receptions in 2026? That's an interesting question that Alex posed later in this Friday show.
