Fox and Crow

A bird discovers a piece of cheese left behind by picnickers and carries it to a high branch. A hungry and crafty fox notices the snack and devises a plan to steal it by exploiting the bird's vanity. Although the bird is initially cautious, she eventually succumbs to the fox's lavish compliments regarding her beauty and singing voice. When she opens her mouth to perform, the food falls directly to the waiting predator below.
