Mississippi State softball punches ticket to World Series, while baseball secures NCAA host spot

Mississippi State softball is going to the Women's College World Series for the first time in program history. The Bulldogs took down No. 3 Oklahoma in Norman, and Delainey Everett delivered one of the most emotionally compelling performances this program has ever seen. This group is headed to Oklahoma City and they have earned every bit of it. On the baseball side, Mississippi State will host an NCAA Regional at Dudy Noble Field. There is no better place to play college baseball in the country, and the Diamond Dawgs will have home field advantage to start their postseason run. Health of the pitching staff will be the key factor in how far this team can go. It is a great week to be a Bulldog.
