State Champ, HS National Champ, ASICS First Team All-American, Junior National Runner-Up, and member of the 1996 Junior World Team, Viktor Sveda was one of the most dominant and relentless wrestlers of his era, but his story goes far beyond the mat.In 1995, Viktor transferred to Walsh Jesuit and immediately stepped into the heart of the St. Edward vs. Walsh rivalry. He wrestled in Ironman finals, Reno Tournament of Champions, the legendary 1996 and 1997 dual meets, and closed his high school career with a dominant senior season. At Indiana University, Viktor became a 2X NCAA All-American and the program’s all-time winningest wrestler with 149 wins, competing in one of the toughest eras in college wrestling; sharing brackets with names like Cael Sanderson and Andy Hrovat...who, SURPRISE, shows up on the episode and they watch one of their classic NCAA Blood Round Matches together, which happened to be Viktor's last match ever. After college, he transitioned into coaching at Kent State and Columbia before helping build The Edge Wrestling in Hoboken, New Jersey, developing high-level athletes while mentoring young wrestlers in one of the sport’s most competitive regions. But there’s another layer.Later in life, Viktor reinvented himself through music; writing, producing, and performing under digital.Viktor. In this episode, he opens up about identity, pressure, rivalry, growth, discipline, creativity, and how wrestling prepared him for every chapter that followed. This is a conversation that has NO BOUNDARIES and an episode about evolution; as an athlete, a coach, a musician, and a man.NAMES MENTIONED:- Ben Hatta- Frank Favaro- Viktor Sveda- Andy Hrovat- Keith Rawling- Brent Thompson- Sonny Marchette- Jeff Knupp- Joe Heskett- Bill Barger- Greg Urbas- Matt Fillo- Rob Rohn- Cael Sanderson- Josh Lambrecht- Clint Watterberg- James Torrez- Jordan Burroughs- Kendall Cross- Bruce Baumgartner- The Edge Wrestling Club- Hoboken High School Wrestling- Beat The Streets- University of Michigan Wrestling- Indiana University Wrestling- St. Edward High School- Walsh Jesuit High School- Kent State University Wrestling- Columbia University Wrestling- Montclaire State University - DEVO- White Eagle Hall- The Bitter End@digital.viktorhttps://www.instagram.com/digital.viktorhttps://www.facebook.com/viktor.digital/https://x.com/viktordothttps://open.spotify.com/artist/46dWLVvFdwYg4RM7n3UjA5https://music.apple.com/us/artist/viktor-digital/1445947613www.youtube.com/@viktor.digitalFor more information and more content, please check out our social platforms; YouTube, Facebook, Insta, or TikTok or go to www.clashofdynasties.com to find more. NCAA Champion, longtime college coach, and wrestling advisor Teague Moore steps into The Dynasty Effect for one of the most honest conversations of the series.Growing up in North Allegheny, a Pennsylvania powerhouse that once stood among the nation’s elite, and later competing at Oklahoma State, another national juggernaut, Teague saw firsthand how dynasties are built on tradition, expectation, and talent, and how they can also slowly fade away.Teague breaks down the subtle differences between programs that sustain success and those that rely on reputation. The conversation dives into leadership, pressure, modern wrestling systems, and what families often misunderstand about the path to the next level. This episode is a masterclass on standards, humility, and why staying great is harder than becoming great.SHOW NOTESTeague MooreNorth Allegheny High SchoolNCAA Champion, Oklahoma StateFormer Division I Head CoachFounder of The Wrestling ConsultantTopics Covered• Rise and fall of high school dynasties• North Allegheny’s legacy and lessons• Oklahoma State culture and standards• Recruiting myths and realities• Coaching and leading young men• Development versus reputation• Why programs slowly lose their edgewww.thewrestlingconsultant.comthewrestlingconsultant@gmail.comFor more information and more content, please check out our social platforms; YouTube, Facebook, Insta, or TikTok or go to www.clashofdynasties.com to find more.
