Sánchez and Wheeler might be best 1-2 punch in Phillies history.
We might be watching the Phillies’ best two pitching performances in a season in franchise history. Christopher Sanchez tossed eight scoreless innings on Friday. He has a 37 ⅔-inning scoreless streak. Zack Wheeler tossed six scoreless innings on Saturday. Sanchez has a 1.62 ERA. Wheeler has a 1.67 ERA.
