The Oklahoma City Comets won the Pacific Coast League championship series and then won the Triple-A national championship game, capping off a productive season for Dodgers minor league affiliates. All four full-season affiliates made the postseason, and three levels saw Dodgers minor leaguers win league MVP – top prospect Josue De Paula in the Double-A Texas League, outfielder Charles Davalan in the High-A Midwest League, and first baseman Easton Shelton in the Class-A California League. In addition, Scott Hennessey in Triple-A, Eric Wedge in Double-A, and Jair Fernandez in Great Lakes all won manager of the year. With De Paula making his major league debut in September and fellow top-100 prospect Mike Sirota reaching Triple-A in the final week-plus of the season, coupled with major-league-ready outfielders James Tibbs III and Zach Ehrhard already with Oklahoma City, the Dodgers have a lot of functional minor league depth they can tap into as needed in 2027.
