A murder conviction, vanished like smoke through a cracked window.  And just like that, the Murdaugh circus rolled back into town led by capital city Dick and bow-tie Jim, hitting every television set in America, peddling the same tired song: no motive, no weapon, holes like Swiss cheese.  Then they filed a curious little lawsuit in federal court, suing the very clerk who handed their client, Alex Murdaugh, his second act. Funny business all around, but not a paycheck in sight.  The Attorney General talks death penalty; everybody hollers politics.
