What’s Behind The Big Leaks About Police Chief Greg Alexander and Murdaugh Murder Weapons? (167pt1)

This week, The (Charleston) Post and Courier reported that Yemassee Police Chief Greg Alexander — a loyal ally of accused murderer Alex Murdaugh — is under State Grand Jury investigation on accusations that he transported the Murdaugh murder weapons and bloody clothing to his police station after Alex's wife and son were killed on June 7, 2021. For years, investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell have reported on Alexander's ties to Murdaugh — and huge questions have existed from the start about his movements that night and why he was at the murder scene at all. Alex's little brother tried to answer those questions at the 2023 trial, but only added to the confusion. While it's encouraging that SLED and the Attorney General's Office are finally investigating, Mandy and Liz smell something fishy. Why is this leaking now? Who benefits from these headlines six months before Alex's trial? And what role, if any, does Team Murdaugh have in making it public? We'll get into more Murdaugh filings on Part Two with all the Mullen matters reserved for next week - tune in Monday 10/5/26 on Patreon, YouTube or Facebook to watch the redacted hearing.Let's Dive In… 🥽 🦈Share the LUNASHARK® Premium Community now on Patreon - Together we go further ☀️🩷🩷By Popular Demand, You Can “Help Journalist Mandy Matney Fight $176,500 Contempt Order” GoFundMe 🩷🩷Lawyers & judges: email your insights or offer your expertise to legal@lunasharkmedia.comEpisode References“Pair of Lowcountry cops investigated for allegedly handling missing Murdaugh murder weapons” - The Post and Courier, Sept 27, 2026 📰“Murdaugh Retrial | Defense Attorneys Hold Press Conference” - Live 5 News, May 18, 2026 🎞️“Yemassee police captain found not guilty” - Hampton County Guardian, Nov 27, 2012 📰 Stay Tuned, Stay Pesky and Stay in the Sunlight...☀️ Learn more about LUNASHARK Premium Membership on Patreon or at lunashark.supercast.com to get bonus episodes like our Premium Dives, Wherever It Leads..., Girl Talk, and Soundbites that help you Stay Pesky and Stay in the Sunlight.
