Rebecca has lived in the same Victorian house in the seaside town of Ramsgate for her whole life. For over 30 years, members of her family have repeatedly dreamed of a little girl who bites them while they sleep. Sometimes they catch glimpses of her in the house, with a bucket and spade. After finding the skeleton of a dog buried on their garden, they start hearing a phantom dog running around the house's corridors. Rebecca's family live happily alongside their spectral visitors, but at certain times of year a sinister male presence seems to manifest.
