Ben Rice too, of course! This Yankees team just proved to be much too much for the Red Sox. The other Sox handled their business swiftly, however, as Chicago took down Houston on the road. The White Sox actually led all 18 innings, which is insane to think about. The Padres just spanked the Cubs. Tatis set the tone early, Gavin Sheets came up with a pinch-hit performance that set a record, and it was all Padres, all the time. Then, Phillies-Braves. What a back-and-forth series! Jeff breaks down the craziness of Game 2 (and Game 1, for that matter) between these division rivals. What a great series it was! On This Date in Baseball History, a lot happened, including pitching records that broke each other! We did not see this coming, and Tim was giddy! Bucky Dent (sorry, Red Sox fans) follows up with a pretty epic story about a house rental gone wrong. Crazy Weather Weekend, We Called Jim Cantore
Jim Cantore joined us to talk about the nor’easter before it hit this past weekend. This was taped back on Tuesday, September 22nd, and while we obviously wanted to talk weather, Cantore also happens to LOVE the game of baseball.
