Why Is Nobody Talking About Yordan Alvarez?

Only a couple of days left in the baseball season, and we can’t contain ourselves! The National League Wild Card race is electric. The American League West is insane. The AL Central is absurd. It just doesn’t stop when it comes to the excitement this time of year brings. I have a feeling we might even get a Tim Kurkjian voice crack in this episode! Big milestones for Eugenio Suárez and Christian Walker, while Yordan Álvarez is SO close to something very special this season, despite his team flirting with a losing record. The Rays are not to be forgotten, but to Tim, the National League is unstoppable. The Quirkjians talk Mason Miller’s dominance and the bruises Randy Arozarena has picked up throughout the season. Plus, would it really be an episode if we didn’t talk about the strikeouts happening all over baseball? On This Date in Baseball History, we talk Rafael Palmeiro, the Nen father-son duo, and Hank Aaron and his brother. Lots of family in this episode, and we love that! Then, we introduce an amazing finish to Tim’s Alphabest! Tell us who you think is the best by following us on social media @GreatGameOrWhat and answering the poll.
