Breaking Down the White Mountains 100

This week I’m doing a full breakdown of the notorious White Mountains 100. How it was created, what the route entails, current records on the route, and why it's one of the hardest 100 mile routes in the country. Approximately 95 miles, 34,000 feet of climbing over some of the gnarliest White Mountains terrain. I share my experience pacing the last 35 miles of this route and witnessing first hand the carnage. I talk about each of the current FKTs and how impressive they all are. I also tried to name all the 4k footers you actually summit from memory but the moment was too big for me. I finish up with the stories from my July Skookumchuck throwdown runs and give an update at the stacked men's and women's leaderboards.
