
Today we’re joined by Jay Fine, President of Research & Development at EvolveImmune Therapeutics.Jay has spent more than 30 years working across drug discovery and development, with a career spanning immunology, immuno-oncology, inflammatory diseases and respiratory disorders. Before joining EvolveImmune, he spent many years at Boehringer Ingelheim, where he led global research efforts in immunology and respiratory diseases, with his teams playing a key role in advancing therapies including Skyrizi and Spevigo.Earlier in his career, Jay held leadership and research positions at Roche, Schering-Plough and the National Cancer Institute, giving him experience across academia, large pharma and biotech.Today, we’ll talk about Jay’s journey through the field, the lessons he’s learned from taking medicines from discovery into development, his experience building and leading scientific teams, and what he sees as the biggest opportunities and challenges in drug development today.
