If you're constantly picking up toys, carrying things from one room to another, digging through overflowing bins, or hearing yourself say, "Where does this even go?"—this episode is for you. Your home probably doesn't need more toy storage. It needs a simpler system. Where should the toys live? Should they be upstairs, downstairs, or both? How many toys should your kids actually have access to at one time? What do you do with all the random little things that don't fit into a category? And what happens when the bins are full—or when another toy comes home from school, grandparents, or a trip to the store? In this episode, we're talking about simple, kid-friendly ways to create physical boundaries, organize toys where your children actually use them, and even create a special place for their treasures. There are a lot of nuances to unpack when it comes to kid’s toys, so listen again next time to part 2 of this series. But let's jump into this now because I know toys at your house are a reality and you need solutions! Do you feel like there is never enough time to actually get your home under control? You declutter, but somehow more stuff keeps showing up. You organize something, only to realize you put it in a place that makes absolutely no sense, or worse, you forgot where you put it. And by the end of the day, you're exhausted—not just because of what you did to care for your family, but because of everything you had to think about, manage, move, and store along the way. In today's episode, I'm giving you three simple steps to simplify your home when you're stressed, overwhelmed, and short on time. By the end of this episode, I want you to realize that you don't need to do everything. So if you feel like you're drowning and you don't have anything left to give, take a deep breath, grab a snack and stay with me. Let’s unpack this together! Have you ever looked around your home and thought, “I cannot keep doing this anymore”? You're tired of picking up the same things over and over, tired of the clutter, tired of feeling behind, and tired of never feeling like your home is actually working for you. And somewhere deep down, you know there has to be a better way. You are correct. Here’s the secret: the thing keeping you stuck and exhausted isn't that you don't know how to declutter or that you are disorganized or that you are terrible at managing your time. In today’s episode, I am uncovering what that one thing is that might be keeping you trapped and sharing simple action steps that you can take to see transformation in your own home this week. So if you're at that place today—if you're saying, “I'm done. I can't live like this anymore. I'm ready for something different”—this episode is for you. Let’s dig into this together! Are you constantly picking up after everyone in your house and wondering, “Why am I the only one who cares if this place stays tidy?” Maybe you've tried asking your kids to clean up. Maybe you've yelled. Maybe you've threatened consequences. Maybe you've simply given up and decided, “It's easier if I just do it myself.” I get it. Getting kids to do anything (especially something new or uncomfortable) can be challenging. Here’s something to consider. What if we've accidentally created homes that are actually too difficult for our children to manage? Too many toys. Too many clothes. Too many books. No clear place for things to go. Expectations that don't match their age or ability. And then we wonder why they aren't taking responsibility. In this episode, I'm giving you four simple decluttering habits that can actually stick—and as a former first-grade teacher, I'm going to show you how to think about your home the same way you would think about setting a child up for success in the classroom. We're also going to talk about the hard parts. What do you do when your child throws a fit? When you're exhausted? When it's honestly easier to just do it yourself? When your child pushes back against a new expectation? If you're tired of feeling like the only person responsible for keeping your home together, you're going to want to listen to this one. What if the reason your home feels messy has very little to do with how well you clean? What if the clutter, the unfinished projects, the piles, the constant feeling that you're behind are actually giving you a glimpse into something happening inside of you? Now, I'm not saying a messy kitchen means you're a mess. And I'm definitely not saying that if your home isn't organized, you've somehow failed as a mom. But I do believe there's a connection between our physical environment, our internal environment or beliefs. In today's episode, we're going to look at where you've become disconnected, the lies that may be keeping you in survival mode, and how you can begin rewiring your thinking with truth so you can experience something different. Have you ever organized your pantry, felt so proud of how beautiful it looked… and then somehow, two weeks later, it was right back to chaos? You bought the bins. You moved things around. Maybe you even created those picture-perfect categories you saw online—but your family still can’t find what they need, food gets forgotten, and you're constantly buying things you already have. In this episode, we’re going to talk about the three things you need to do before you organize your pantry—and why getting these steps right can completely change the way your kitchen functions. Let’s tackle this pantry once and for all! Connect with me in my FREE FB Group! Do you ever wake up already feeling behind? Before your feet even hit the floor, your mind is racing—What needs to be done today? Who needs me? What did I forget? How am I going to get everything accomplished? What interruption am I going to have to deal with? By the end of the day, maybe you're exhausted, the house is still a mess, tomorrow isn't prepared, and you collapse into bed wondering, “How did another day get away from me?” What if your morning could set the tone instead of the chaos setting it for you? What if your evening could help you close the day instead of carrying today's chaos into tomorrow? And what if just a few simple habits could make your entire day feel just a little bit lighter? Let's talk about how to create a household rhythm that works for your real life. Connect with me in my FREE FB Group! You’re thinking about the laundry, the groceries, the kids’ schedules, the appointment you forgot to make, the text you still need to answer, the thing you promised someone you would do… and then you look around your house and realize the clutter outside of you is starting to mirror the clutter inside of you. In today's episode, we're talking about three simple ways to begin clearing up your mental load.
