If you're new here I have NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) and I've been in therapy for the last 8 years learning how to deal with it and live a better life. From the start I've offered you the rare POV of a diagnosed narcissist but NOW I'm switching it up a little bit. I'm interviewing others that are dealing with their own mental health journeys and those that have dealt with toxic relationship dynamics as well. I'm still sharing my POV just sharing others as well. Collabs ✉ partnerships@mentalhealness.net

Ashleyjoins the Mental Healness Podcast to share how she survived two very different toxic marriages: one loud and overt, the other quiet, subtle, and much harder to recognize. After leaving a nearly decade-long relationship marked by control, betrayal, isolation, and emotional abuse, she remarried believing she knew every red flag, until covert manipulation appeared in a different form. Ashley and Lee Hammock discuss narcissistic abuse, love bombing, trauma patterns, co-parenting, childhood wounds, faith, healing, and why leaving one toxic relationship does not automatically mean you have processed what it taught you. Her story is a reminder that taking responsibility for your healing is not the same as taking responsibility for someone else’s abuse. I’m a diagnosed narcissist, and in this video I explain why many narcissistic people know when they are manipulating, lying, withholding affection, shifting blame, or causing emotional harm. Awareness does not equal accountability, and knowing better does not automatically mean someone will choose to behave better. This is not an excuse for narcissistic abuse it is a first-person perspective on self-awareness, entitlement, control, and the work required to change harmful patterns. If someone repeatedly hurts you and then claims they “didn’t know,” pay attention to their actions, not just their apologies. Healing may require boundaries, distance, and support that centers your safety.Book a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]
In this Mental Healness Podcast interview, Nina shares her story of surviving a 31-year emotionally destructive and volatile marriage while feeling financially trapped as a long-term stay-at-home wife. After calling police for protection, she says she experienced retaliation, isolation, a smear campaign, and rejection from people she expected to support her. Lee Hammock and Nina discuss narcissistic abuse, coercive control, financial abuse, trauma bonds, silent treatment, scapegoating, and why leaving an abusive relationship is not always as simple as “just leave.” This conversation is for survivors over 50, stay-at-home parents, and anyone rebuilding their identity while navigating a toxic relationship. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a domestic-violence resource in your area.Want To Be A Guest? https://tinyurl.com/Mental-Healness-Podcast-Form
Why do narcissistic and toxic people constantly compare you to their exes? In this video, Lee Hammock explains how comparisons can be used to provoke jealousy, create insecurity, keep you competing for approval, and distract from their own behavior. Whether they praise an ex, criticize an ex, or say “my ex would never do that,” the goal may be to keep you emotionally off balance.Book a Coaching Session: [https://link.me/mentalhealness]🔥 My Books: [https://a.co/d/2WNtdKJ]🎙 Listen to the Mental Healness Podcast: [https://youtube.com/@mentalhealnesspodcast?si=AVcJfHa16HZReqHL]

She Had a Baby With a Narcissist Because She Thought It Would Make Him Love Her More and change his ways towards her. Big Big mistake because having babies DO NOT change people. They tend to make things worse. This man thought he was going to be happy with a side chick the side chick didn't even like him lol.
